The Witch at OneandSeventy's Halloween Home Tour 2015 | www.suzy-homemaker.co.uk

Halloween has officially left the building.

Boo!

But before Samhain disappears entirely, my 2015 Halloween journey would not be complete without a virtual home tour.

Sit for a Spell - A Halloween chair makeover with free template | The World of Suzy Homemaker

I can't believe Samhain is only a few days away. Blimey! This year is whizzing past! It feels like only yesterday I started all my Halloween projects and now, I'm almost finished.

Soon I'll be on to the best bit. Decorating the house. Yay! I can't wait! Even though I am full of cold courtesy of Beloved and feeling pretty pants. Boo!

By way of an apology, he has offered to help ready OneandSeventy for all those Trick or Treaters. It *may* involve getting out his drill.

That'll learn him.

#stylingtheseasons Summer - @SuzyHomemakerUK

Yep! Summer's finally arrived! That may seem like old news already, but if you've been following along for a while, you'll know that in my world, we celebrate the changing of the seasons the old fashioned way – astronomically, rather than meteorologically. If you're wondering what on earth I'm going on about, I explain all in this post from last year.

OK, so I'm still a little late to the party, but I have a good excuse...honest! Beloved and I have been away again. We spent the Solstice weekend celebrating the union of England and Scotland at our Besties' wedding!

Valentine's Mantel | www.suzy-homemaker.co.uk

We're all loved up here at OneandSeventy.

After almost 23 years together, Beloved and I rarely exchange gifts and cards these days, but we do like to celebrate Valentine's Day. Well let's face it, we don't need much of an excuse to whip up a (preferably calorific) dinner, crack open a bottle of wine and sit at the table putting the world to rights!

This year, we have even more reason to celebrate. Our only son and his gorgeous girlie have chosen the most romantic day of the year to walk down the aisle. Squeaaaaaal! My little boy is all grown up and I'll soon be the mother of a married man. Feel old? Moi?

In honour of their impending nuptials, it seemed only fitting that Number 1 and his Bride take centre stage on this year's Valentine's Mantel.
