George Clark's Amazing Christmas Spaces 2013

Before I begin, I'd just like to convey my heartfelt thanks to you dear reader, for stopping by The World of Suzy Homemaker.

After launching in late March, this li'l ole blog is already starting to attract interest, for which I am truly grateful. Hopefully, I'll keep you entertained way into the future!

To be sure you don't miss a post, why not subscribe to regular e-mail updates (just hit that "subscribe to blog" button way up there ^^^ above the first post). Maybe, you might just like to share one or more of my posts and encourage your friends to subscribe...! ;-)

OK... that's enough of the shameless plugging...!

Seriously though, I really am most appreciative of each and every viewer, subscriber, comment and follow both here and over on Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram.

Ta muchly!

So what's all this about a TV star?

The Chapel, Walcot Hall, Shropshire by www.suzy-homemaker.co.uk

I've had loads of people comment on the stunning converted church where Beloved and I celebrated our 21st Wedding Anniversary last month.

I know some of you have even bookmarked those lovely people at Canopy & Stars, with a view to booking your own little hideaway in the future. Do tell them I sent you!

Well here's a funny thing. I've discovered that The Chapel at Shropshire's Walcot Hall featured on the 2013 Christmas Special of George Clarke's Amazing Spaces!

How cool is that?

I know many of you enjoyed my photos, but hands up who fancies a proper tour!

Of course you do!

I warn you, though. Be prepared for lots of "ooooohs", "ahhhhs" and "WOWs"!

Ours was the bedroom at the back of The Chapel, under the glass cross; the room where George feared someone might be snoring.

What's that you say? Beloved? Snoring? Oh no, no!

Check out the episode here; it's the first Amazing Space to be featured: http://vimeo.com/82301452

The third series of George Clarke's Amazing Spaces is currently being shown on Thursdays at 8pm on Channel 4. If you missed any episodes, you can catch up on 4OD.

A hui hou,
