Do you have a goal? What’s your goal?

Things to Do List from The World of Suzy Homemaker

Ah..January. The time for starting over. For planning and goal setting.

Lots and LOTS of goal setting!

I'll be honest, I haven't done much in the way of formalising goals this year. Partly because I choose to run my business according to the UK Tax Year, so I'm still working on the goals I set in April. The other reason is because my only real plan for 2015 is to build upon the successes of last year and allow things to develop organically.

Business coaches everywhere will be hyperventilating at that one!

After starting The World of Suzy Homemaker in March, I've already completed loads of projects around OneandSeventy. I've also had the unexpected pleasure of working with some fabulous companies and I'm looking forward to doing more of the same this year.

Meanwhile, over on SueCo Virtual Assistance, I've also been working alongside other great small business owners and I recently took on a fabulous new client who is right up my street.

Holly Hinton is the very first person in the Midlands to become a facilitator of the highly successful and inspirational global Desire Map program. Working with Holly has prompted me to launch a brand new service of my own, personalising the official Desire Map graphics for licensees worldwide. This gives me an opportunity to utilise my Photoshop skills for others who don't have access to the application, or have no desire to learn.

This pleases me greatly.

Yay!

As a multi-passionate business owner, I do a lot of juggling. So, while I may not have any stone-clad goals for 2015, I do have a LOT of things that need doing.

I'm a prolific list writer and I've tried all sorts of ways of keeping my lists under control – from Wunderlist to Evernote, to Apple Notes and Calendar entries (both of which I use all the time). Call me old-fashioned, but no matter how many ways I try to modernise my processes, I always come back to the good old To Do list.

It's simple, effective and, as a tool that lives on my desk, gives me something that is constantly in my eye line. A To Do list keeps me on track and keeps me accountable. Most of all, using a pen to tick off actions (remember one of those?) fills me with unparalleled pride and an overwhelming sense of accomplishment.

Apps and other techy methods are brilliant for recording my long-term goals but for me, the To Do list is king for daily tasks.

If you feel the same way, and you want to start organising all those things that need doing, I've created your very own A4 To Do list right here. This FREE PRINTABLE is ready for you to start using right away. Simply download it to your computer, print it out and off you go!

If you'd prefer the Microsoft Word version, let me know – I'd be only too happy to e-mail it to you.

Happy list making!

A hui hou,

I love the good old fashioned pen and paper method. It is so satisfying to scribble them out when they are done. I even add to the list when i have done something thats not on it just so i get that accomplished feeling. haha
