Finger lickin' spicy barbecue chicken | The World of Suzy Homemaker @SuzyHomemakerUK

Don't judge me.

I had planned to publish this post last week, but when news broke of Robin Williams' death, it somehow didn't seem very appropriate.

It's weird how the death of someone you don't actually know, can personally affect you. Like so many of us, I grew up watching Robin and howling with laughter at his unique brand of comedic genius.

How sad that he should be so gifted at bringing joy and laughter to others, but was unable to find peace for himself. The world really is a less jolly place without him in it.

Postcard from Whitstable by www.suzy-homemaker.co.uk

Barbecues, Wimbledon, lazy days in the garden and light evenings around the fire pit. Strawberries and cream, flip-flops with bling, sending up prayers to the weather Gods and chasing the very last rays of sunshine...

It must be...
